Confused by Wellness Advice? You’re Not Alone (And Here’s What to Do About It)

These days, it feels like everyone and their Instagram-famous cousin is a “wellness expert,” doesn’t it?
One person tells you to only eat plants. Another swears by eating only meat. Oats? “TOXIC!” they scream. Seed oils? “Worse than your ex!”

Honestly, it’s exhausting. No wonder you feel like throwing your hands up and ordering fries (and honestly, no shame in that either).

But here's the truth:
What works for one person won’t always work for another.
Why? Because we’re all bioindividuals. That’s not just a trendy word—it means your body has its own unique needs, preferences, sensitivities, and rhythms.

Let’s Get Real:

  • One person’s celiac is different from another’s.

  • One person’s diabetes is not a carbon copy of someone else’s.

  • One person’s “healthy” might not feel healthy to you.

You are a living, breathing, ever-evolving being—and you deserve a wellness approach that honors that.

So... What Should You Do?

Let’s simplify this. Take a deep breath (really—pause and take one now)… and now let’s get back to you.

1. Tune into your body.

After you eat, check in with yourself.
Do you feel bloated, gassy, foggy, tired, or moody?
Or do you feel light, clear, and energized?
Your body is always talking to you—start listening.

2. Start a symptom & food journal.

It doesn’t have to be fancy.
Open the Notes app on your phone, or grab a notebook. Jot down what you ate, and how you felt before and after.
Over time, patterns will start to emerge—and that’s your body’s roadmap.

3. Focus on real, whole foods.

The more you can stick to nature-made foods (fruits, veggies, clean proteins, whole grains, nuts, seeds), the more your body will thank you.
Yes, reduce the ultra-processed stuff and sugary snacks—but please, no guilt if you eat a cookie. Or a cheeseburger. Or both. Balance > perfection.

4. Move, sleep, hydrate, and get outside.

Wellness is more than food.

  • Move your body in a way that feels good.

  • Prioritize deep, restful sleep.

  • Drink your water (add cucumber slices or lemon if you're feeling fancy).

  • Get outside and soak in some sunshine and fresh air. It’s medicine.

Here’s the Good News:

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to health. But there is a path that’s right for you—and I’d love to help you find it.

If you’re tired of conflicting advice, tired of second-guessing yourself, or just ready to finally feel good in your body again…
